Put Not Your Trust In Princes

In this day of universal suffrage,it is not that all politicians make promises, and that only some of them keep them - it is that a politician will say or promise anything to be elected.Whether or not these promises can later be be kept is irrelevant to the major goal of the politician - re-election.
All of these promises amount to the same thing - making everyone - or,at least, the speaker's current audience - wealthy, and wealthy without any effort beyond faith.
Merely cast your vote, and all manner of things will be well.
They are lying.They are lying for no other reason than because it is in their nature to lie.The mere fact that a person desires to be elected, proves that that person is lying.
Remember.Remember the sacrifices of your Fathers and Grandfathers.Remember that freedom is not free, and that rights once won at bitter prices, may be lost in a moment - because no one is paying attention.
